Job summary

A-Team Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab in North Las Vegas, NV. This full‑time, six‑month contract role supports the VA in Las Vegas, performing cath lab, IR, Echo and related procedures.

The RN will work in a high‑acuity environment, maintain documentation, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Current BCLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, CVICU, or related units.
• Experience with pharmacologic agents and dosing in cardiology care.
• Proficient documentation of medications, nursing procedures and patient education.
• Ability to wear PPE and stand for several hours as required.
• Recent continuous full‑time work in Cath Lab or CVICU within 24 months.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for cardiac cath lab and diagnostic tests.
• Prepare labs and equipment for daily procedures and emergencies.
• Circulate for cath lab procedures and coordinate patient care across teams.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and treatments.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain safety, aseptic technique and equipment readiness.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality improvement.
