Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to provide expert nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role involves circulating and scrubbing in procedures, administering and titrating medications, maintaining sterile technique, and educating patients and families about procedures and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac catheterization or related nursing roles.
• Knowledge of cardiac procedures, medication administration, and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Ensure safe preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients.
• Circulate and scrub in procedures, administer and titrate medications, and perform hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain sterile techniques and collaborate closely with cardiologists and technologists.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Support quality and safety initiatives within the team.
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed.
