Job summary

A health care provider in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Outpatient Cath Lab Registered Nurse. This role involves caring for patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, requiring strong clinical skills and relevant certifications. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a critical care or cardiac care setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedural assessments and educate patients about their procedure.
• Assist the cardiologist during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters throughout the procedure.

Skills

Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular nursing and patient assessment

Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with cath lab equipment and electronic health records (EHR)

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
