Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join a collaborative team delivering evidence-based care. Must have at least 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.

The role involves 4-10 hour shifts with rotating call, day shift, and direct care within a two-lab Cath Lab, focusing on rapid response to heart events and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice paused in last 5 years.
• Prior Cardiac Care experience preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and contribute to care plans aligned with evidence-based pathways.
• Perform complex patient-care procedures specific to Cardiac Cath Lab expertise.
• Function as part of Care and Support Teams to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care using nursing process, environment, and team collaboration.
• Under limited supervision, deliver high-quality nursing care to a group of patients.
