Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift in New Mexico on a 13-week contract. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care, ensuring safety and quality aligned with unit standards.

This role requires assessment, planning, and execution of care with a focus on patient education and discharge planning. Responsibilities include initial assessments, ongoing reassessment, and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current NM RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification via AHA required.
• ACLS certification via AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patient systems systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
• Develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care for patients within the timeframe established by Nursing Standards of Care.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes; modify the plan of care based on these evaluations.
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate the plan of care.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.
