Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced RN to join its critical care team. You will provide and coordinate patient care, administer medications, and support families while delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements include RN licensure, Associate Degree, ACLS/BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of ICU/ER experience with a 30-minute response time for calls.

Qualifications

  • RN license required and actively practicing.
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care (ICU/ER) experience.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
  • React to emergencies.
  • Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
  • Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
  • Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
  • Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.
