Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, and educate families as part of an integrated cardiovascular service line.

Qualifications include Active RN license, ACLS/BCLS, ADN, and at least 1 year of critical care experience; Cath Lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with care team.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Assesses environment for safety risks and regulatory compliance.
• Assesses pain and reassesses after interventions.
• Reports abuse or neglect as appropriate.
• Performs procedures and documents care in medical record.
• Administers medications and monitors therapeutic response.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients/families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
• Translates medical terminology for complete understanding.
• Manages care team and delegates as appropriate.
