Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ACU Cardiac Cath Lab in Temecula, CA. The role involves initial patient assessment for scheduled procedures, along with coordinating discharge planning and ensuring patient safety throughout the care pathway.

Requires two years of experience in OR/telemetry/CCU, California RN license, and active BLS/ACLS certifications. BSN preferred. Eligible for competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' experience in an operating room, telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility required.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current California RN license (maintain current), BSN preferred.
• BLS (maintain current AHA).
• ACLS (maintain current AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment appropriate to the patient's scheduled procedure, clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Initiate discharge planning for each patient upon admission where appropriate.
• Identify need for further assessment based on patient presentation and tolerance of diagnostic testing/scheduled procedure.
