Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, utilizing critical thinking, clinical expertise, and critical care skills to assess patient hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory responses during procedures. The nurse administers conscious sedation, monitors patient safety, and advocates for patient needs throughout care.

• Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, along with ongoing professional development.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans, communicating effectively across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; preferred at least 2 years in bedside critical care, emergency, or cardiac care.
