Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join a fast-paced, procedure-driven team delivering interventional cardiology care across adult and pediatric cases. You will circulate and monitor during complex procedures, collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses, and help ensure safe, efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates bring a nursing degree, Virginia RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor during procedures including interventional cardiology cases and emergent activations.
• Work within a 4-person team to ensure safe procedural flow.
• Maintain procedural readiness and handle specialized equipment.
• Complete detailed documentation to support continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotation for urgent cardiac cases.

Education
