Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Nursing professional to monitor patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Heart Lab. You will collaborate with the invasive cardiology team to support patient safety, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring while documenting findings and responding to emergencies.

The role requires a nursing degree from an ACEN/CCNE accredited program, at least one year of critical care experience, and BLS; ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACEN/CCNE nursing program.
• One year of critical care experience preferred.
• One year of diagnostic/invasive cardiac cath lab and/or recovery experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Communicate with the invasive cardiologist to ensure patient safety and care.
• Initiate and monitor IV therapy for procedures and emergencies.
• Record and document physiologic data, medications, and procedure findings.
• Assess cardiovascular status and respond to abnormal findings with team.
• Provide ACLS/BCLS actions during emergencies as needed.
