Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join a high-acuity team. RNs coordinate patient care, administer medications, scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac studies, and document accurately in MediTech/Camtronics.

A strong emphasis on timely response and patient safety guides daily practice. Required ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of start, along with an RN license, an associate degree, and proven Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in good standing required.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• React to emergencies as needed.
• Administer medications and IV sedation under physician direction.
• Scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac studies.
• Document nursing care accurately in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record and interpret hemodynamic measurements.
• Rotating call schedule including weekends.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatments

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• You will react accordingly to emergencies.
• You will administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• You will scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• You will provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics
• You will record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.
• Rotating call schedule for weekends

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience REQUIRED!

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
