Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring patient preparation, comfort, and precise data entry. You will monitor hemodynamics and support the physician throughout complex interventions.

The role requires a High School diploma, BLS certification, and RCIS/RCES or ARRT invasive experience. Associates or higher in health sciences preferred; ACLS desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Professional Certification (BLS).
• RCIS/RCES (within one year of hire with completion of an accredited CVT program) OR Licensed RT (ARRT certification) with invasive experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure room and scrubs/assist MD during cardiac catheterization and interventions (stents, angioplasties, valve replacements, EP procedures).
• Prepares and drapes patients, addresses questions, ensures comfort.
• Enters patient, procedure and equipment details in the system.
