Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to assist the interventional Cardiologist by scrubbing into procedures and operating x-ray equipment. You will learn scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. A 30-minute call response time is required, and call is required in this position with reporting to Mount Carmel St.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Radiographer with ARRT.
• Ohio Radiologic License required.
• CI or CV registry preferred.
• 2 years in diagnostic radiography; angiography/cath lab/surgery experience preferred.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional procedures with emphasis on optimal image quality.
• Enter online charges in RIS and ensure accuracy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety policy.
