Required Skills/Experience:Current cath lab experience is required.Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps.
Required Credentials:ARRT certification is required.RCIS or CCT not accepted.
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.Travel pairs are not accepted.Open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday.
Cases are performed with two techs: one scrubs and one monitors hemodynamics.The RN performs conscious sedation.The lab receives STEMI cases.Case mix includes cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, neuro intervention, and EP cases.Daily case volume varies from 10-22 cases total.
Shift may be 10s or 12s.Weeknight call is required 1x/week for inpatient and emergent cases, etc.Weekend call is required 1 weekend/month and runs from Friday evening through Monday morning; this is subject to change depending on the needs of the unit.
