The role involves assisting with vital signs, mobility, hygiene, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision, with a rotating days/evenings/nights schedule and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of equipment, changes bed linens, stocks supplies and prepares rooms for admissions.
• Provide safe and competent patient care addressing nutritional, skin integrity, elimination and hygiene needs including bathing, grooming and comfort measures.
• Performs clinical duties under RN supervision including vitals, pulse oximetry, EKG, and admission/discharge processes.
• Collects and disposes of specimens as required using proper procedures.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, compassion and professionalism.
• Assists with safe ambulation, transfers, and uses lift devices appropriately.
• Follows safety initiatives for the department.
• Assists in post mortem care.
• Meets unit/department skills and competency expectations.
• Responds timely to patient call lights and family requests.
