Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiac CRNA/AA at our Gwinnett campus to deliver anesthesia care for cardiac procedures in a dynamic program. The role requires active Georgia licensure, COA-accredited training, and NBCRNA certification with cardiac EP/Cath Lab experience.

Strong collaboration with perioperative teams ensures patient safety and optimal outcomes. Qualified candidates will have a Master's in Anesthesia, be insurable for required malpractice limits, and demonstrate clinical

Qualifications

• Holds active Georgia RN license and meets CRNA requirements.
• Graduate of COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Is board certified or recertified by NBCRNA.
• Cardiac experience in EP or Cath Lab.
• Insurable for required malpractice limits.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and anesthesia care skills.
• Strong communication with clinical staff across disciplines.
• Knowlege of age-specific care and infection prevention.

Qualifications

CRNA Requirements

1. Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning CRNAs.
2. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
3. Is currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
4. Cardiac Experience in the EP or Cath Lab
5. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
6. Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities.
7. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
8. Ability to operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care as well as necessary perioperative or operating room care to support the safety and wellbeing of the patient while they are under the direct care of the CRNA.
9. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with various clinical staff and other disciplines.
10. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
11. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
12. Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
13. Ability to maintain confidential records.
14. Ability to implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Preferred:

1. One (1) year experience.

AA Requirements
