Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for our Fayette hospital location. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in general anesthesia and will provide comprehensive perioperative care to a thriving medical community.

The role requires supervising CRNAs, functioning within the Epic EMR system, and delivering 24/7 anesthesia coverage. Piedmont offers a competitive salary, loan assistance, CME benefits, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible MD in anesthesiology.
• 1–2 years' experience in general anesthesia.
• Ability to perform perioperative anesthetic care and manage patients pre- and postoperatively.
• Active license in Georgia (GA).
• Ability to supervise and manage CRNAs on staff.
• Provide anesthesia coverage 24/7 to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery.
• Coordinate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure safe anesthesia delivery.
• Supervise CRNAs and other anesthesia staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in Epic EMR and ensure compliance with standards.
