Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking locum cardiac anesthesiologists for positions near Nashua, NH, starting ASAP and continuing until vacancy is filled.

Caseload includes complex procedures (ECMO, LVAD, robotic thoracic, watchman) with weeknights and weekend pager calls. BE/BC MD or DO, DEA, ACLS, and CV fellowship/TEE required; NH license or IMLC eligible is a plus. Supervise CRNAs in CV OR and handle own cases during pager shifts.

Qualifications

• BE/BC MD or DO acceptable.
• DEA license required.
• ACLS Life Support (AHA) required.
• CV Fellowship and TEE certification required.
• NH license provided or IMLC candidates a plus.
• Experience preferred but new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs in the CV OR during weekdays (1:2 ratio).
• Manage own CV cases while on CV pager call.
• Participate in a care team model with generalist anesthesia support.

Job description

Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Nashua, NH.

• Start Date: 7/1/26, ongoing until vacancy is filled
• Shifts: Mon-Fri (8 hrs)
• Pager Call Required: Mix of Weeknights (Mon-Fri- 7p-7a) & Weekend 24 Hour Call (Sat-Sun 7a-7a)
• Client prefers full-time availability (40 hrs per week) but will also consider 2 weeks/month

Adults only -- no peds

Types of cases: ECMO, LVAD (minimal), robotic thoracic surgery, watchman

Candidate Parameters:

• BE/BC MD or DO acceptable
• DEA required
• ACLS Life Support (AHA)
• CV Fellowship/Tee Certification required
• NH License provided IMLC candidates a plus
• Experience preferred but will consider new grads out of fellowship
• Weeknight and Weekend Pager Call Required
• Care Team Model: Supervise CRNAs in the CV OR during weekdays (supervision is 1:2 ratio), will do own CV cases while on CV pager call.

Hospital/unit questions:

• Support Staff: Generalist Anesthesiologist + CRNA support
• Credentialing: 90 days with clean file
