Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is recruiting a BC/BE adult cardiac anesthesiologist to join a 100% cardiothoracic practice in the Indianapolis area. The role includes coverage for a broad range of cardiac, thoracic, and EP cases across two suburban hospitals, with a growing transplant/LVAD program and call from home.

Employed within a nonprofit health system, eligibility for Indiana licensure and DEA registration is required. Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• Indiana medical license eligibility before hire.
• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of 12 physicians.
• Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, and EP services.
• Support two suburban hospitals with a high-volume cardiac case mix.
• Participate in growing transplant/LVAD program as it expands.
