Rinvio Recruitment is seeking a qualified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a growing hospital program in Mason City, IA. You will provide specialized cardiac anesthesia for heart surgeries, supervise CRNAs as needed, and support general surgeries on busy days.

The role requires board certification in cardiac anesthesia or eligibility, Iowa license or IMLC, TEE reading and billing capabilities, and full certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) with COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Cardiac Anesthesiology is preferred; Board Eligible considered.
• Active Iowa license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) required, upload Letter of Qualification.
• Must read and bill for TEE procedures, not just place the probe.
• Cardiac fellowship preferred; extensive experience acceptable if TEE certified.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Availability on requested dates is essential.
• Clean malpractice and background record required.

Responsabilités

• Provide cardiac anesthesiology care for cardiac surgeries in a Level II program.
• Supervise CRNAs at outpatient surgery center if no heart surgeries scheduled.
• Support 8 operating rooms and a mix of heart and general surgeries daily.
• Collaborate with hospital team and EMR transition (Cerner to EPIC).
