Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking highly skilled cardiothoracic anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care. Board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology with cardiac fellowship are required, and PA licensing is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology required.
• Unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiothoracic patients; daylight coverage M-F 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
• Supervise CRNAs; beeper call 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 2.75:1 concurrency target.
