Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship trained in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Medical License Eligibility in Florida.
• DEA registration and ACLS/BLS certification.
• Experience in academic medical centers or high-acuity hospitals preferred.
• Interest in quality improvement, research, or medical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Anesthesia care (MAC) in operating rooms and procedural areas.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and formulate individualized anesthetic plans.
• Monitor and manage intraoperative physiology, ensuring safety.
• Manage postoperative recovery and acute pain, including regional techniques.
• Participate in emergency airway and resuscitation services.
• Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and CRNAs in a teaching hospital.
• Engage in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EHR.
