Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for locums coverage in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role involves open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular cases, plus neurosurgical, obstetrical, and complex orthopedic surgeries, with regional, spinal, epidural, and post-op block techniques.

Day shifts run from 7 am to 5 pm, with beeper call coverage available and involvement across 16 operating rooms.

Qualifications

• Open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular anesthesia required.
• Neurosurgical, obstetrical, and complex orthopedic cases required.
• Regional, spinal, epidural, and post-op block skills required.
• Central line and arterial line placement required.
• Board certification required.

Responsibilities

• Cover open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular anesthesia across 16 operating rooms.
• Provide neurosurgical, obstetrical, and complex orthopedic anesthesia.
• Administer regional anesthesia including spinal, epidural, and post-op blocks.
• Place central and arterial lines as needed during cases.
• Perform anesthesia in both inpatient and outpatient settings during day shifts with beeper call coverage.
