A healthcare facility in Snellville is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for an inpatient position. Responsibilities include evaluating cardiology patients, conducting examinations, and working in a collaborative environment with Physicians. The ideal candidate should have a Masters or Bachelors Degree from an accredited program and preferred experience in cardiology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years previous cardiology experience preferred.
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia with national certification.
• Preferred Experience: 2-5 years previous cardiology experience highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat Cardiology patients in inpatient settings.
• Conduct physical examinations and record patient data.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other Providers in a team.
• Prepare patient workups.
• Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
• Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.
• Highly autonomous Acute Care practice.

Overview

Cardiac Acute Care Services PRN - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Piedmont Eastside (Snellville) is an inpatient PRN position with Piedmont Heart Institute in Snellville, GA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting including the ER and ICU.
• Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient record.
• Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
• Prepare patient workups.
• Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
• Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.
• Highly autonomous Acute Care practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification.
• Alternatively: Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
• Preferred Experience: 2-5 years previous cardiology experience highly preferred.
