Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Carded Radiographer to support operations in Davenport, IA. This is a callout/travel position focused on field inspections and NDT testing.

You will set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment, assist in calibration, record inspection results, and help radiographers perform tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities according to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Support tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Record inspection results accurately.
• Assist with carrying out NDT procedures and related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• 40 Hr Radiaton Safety - MUST BE CARDED RADIOGRAPHER
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREEN PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
