Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a reliable, physically fit individual for a Full-Time Baler/Tugger role in Rocky Mount, NC. The position requires operating a baler, cleaning duties, and transporting trash within a warehouse environment.

Training is provided for golf cart operations and safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience, along with strong communication skills and availability for the stated shifts (5am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-10pm,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year work experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Basic cleaning duties.
• Bale cardboard and clean warehouse.
• Collect and empty trash bins.
• Break down cardboard for recycling.
• Operate golf cart for trash collection (training provided).
• May work in warehouse with baler or other equipment.
• This role requires heavy lifting and physical effort.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Move and rearrange furniture as needed.
• Check trash containers before moving them.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean as required.
• Respond to spills and flood cleanup.
• Restock carts and closets at end of shift.
