Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Research Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. You will physically review, identify, and classify sports and non-sports cards into the SGC specification database. You report to the Research Supervisor and work from our Boca Raton office.

You will research using trade magazines, books, and internet sources, and communicate with divisions, customer service, and manufacturers such as Topps, Upper Deck, and Panini. Prior card knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Firsthand knowledge of trading cards and collectibles.
• Strong research and cataloging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Knowledge of Google Suite tools including: Sheets, Gmail, Drive.

Responsibilities

• Identify sports cards and other major sports card releases (baseball, football, etc.).
• Identify non-sports cards (vintage to modern releases).
• Research via trade magazines, books and internet sources.
• Communicate effectively with other divisions and customer service.
• Coordinate with manufacturers such as Topps, Upper Deck & Panini.
