Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking a Grader to join the Beckett team in our Plano, TX office. You will authenticate and grade trading cards (sports, non-sports, and TCG) and support corporate orders.

The role requires 1-10+ years of grading experience, strong knowledge of BGS standards, and meticulous handling of valuable merchandise. Onsite 5 days/week with opportunities to travel to trade shows. Ideal candidates will know vintage cards, counterfeits, and how to use a jeweler’s loupe and

Qualifications

• 1-10+ years of card grader experience.
• Core knowledge of gaming and trading card games.
• Knowledge of vintage cards and BGS grading standards.
• Ability to spot counterfeits and altered cards.
• Familiarity with jeweler’s loupe and rulers.

Responsibilities

• Grade daily required sports, non-sports, and TCG cards.
• Train for knowledge of counterfeits and tampered/altered cards.
• Assist in completing corporate/project orders.
• Stay updated on hobby trends and market insights.
• Travel to trade shows as needed.
• Learn and apply BGS grading standards and scales.
• Work well in a team and also independently.
• Assist in grader-level training.
• Handle and protect valuable merchandise with care.
