Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Card Test Lead and Test Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Cards & Payments domain, particularly in credit card platforms, and will lead testing efforts for credit card migration projects. This role demands strong leadership, domain knowledge, and hands‑on experience with card processing systems like TSYS-TS2.

Key Skills & Domain Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in Cards & Payments, with a focus on credit card platforms.
  • Strong understanding of card lifecycle functionalities:
  • Card origination
  • Product changes
  • Payment allocation
  • Fees and financial charges
  • Hands‑on experience with TSYS-TS2 or similar platforms.
  • Proven success in credit card migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and transaction processing flows.
  • Lead and manage end‑to‑end testing for credit card migration projects.
  • Define and execute test strategies across functional, regression, and UAT phases.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and third‑party vendors to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Validate critical card processes: issuance, authorization, transaction posting, and settlement.
  • Oversee defect management: triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI‑DSS and other relevant standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation: test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs.

Tools & Communication:

  • Proficient in JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior testers and guide offshore teams to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Cards & Payments.
  • Prior experience in leading testing teams and migration projects is highly desirable.

Salary Transparency:

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
