Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to break larger projects into phased tasks and deliver them with engineering, product, design, and analytics partners in Las Vegas.

You will write clear, tested, extensible code, ship web and mobile applications, design, develop, and launch scalable APIs, and participate in code reviews and feedback cycles. On-call duties may be required.

Collaborate across teams and monitor system metrics to improve availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web and mobile applications and designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs.
• Write clear, tested, extensible code; navigate large codebases; participate in code reviews; seek feedback; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Break larger projects into phased tasks and deliver them in collaboration with engineering, product, design, and analytics partners.
• Monitor team systems and metrics, support operational availability and on-call work, and contribute to team development and interviewing.
