Kennametal Inc. is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Machine Operator II to chemically clean carbide inserts on site in Orwell, OH. The role involves operating wash equipment, loading and unloading inserts, and verifying cleanliness before proceeding in the workflow.

Responsibilities include recording results, following the control plan, and supporting preventive maintenance. The position emphasizes safety and precision in a fast-paced production environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A 2-year technical degree is preferred.

Mansioni

• Operate wash machines (Crest, Novatec, EcoClean) for carbide inserts.
• Visually determine readiness of inserts for washing.
• Load/unload inserts onto racks and baskets per insert style.
• Determine if inserts are clean to proceed to next operation.
• Monitor washer during operation.
• Scan correct information and record results on route card.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Serve as back-up for Electropolish machine.
