Job summary

Autowash Car Washes is seeking a Facility Manager in Colorado to own the full upkeep of one or more locations. You will supervise exterior appearance, safety, lighting, landscaping, signage and building condition to ensure a pristine, customer-ready site.

Primary duties include routine inspections, minor maintenance, and coordinating repairs, while ensuring brand standards and professional customer interactions are maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years of related experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Android tablets, PC hardware and software
• Basic understanding of networking hardware, PLCs, VDFs, and reset procedures
• Technical training in HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, Automotive or Coding is preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete opening procedures, daily checklists and visual inspections.
• Maintain parking lots, wash bays, vacuums, and customer-facing areas.
• Inspect property for hazards or deterioration and report issues with tickets and photos.
• Perform light maintenance and troubleshoot vacuums, hose repairs, and wand tightening as safe.

Position Summary

The Facility Manager (FM) is the primary caretaker and operator responsible for the full physical upkeep, safety, and customer readiness of one or more Autowash locations. This role is designed around complete property ownership—ensuring the building, site, grounds, and all customer touchpoints reflect the Autowash brand standard.

While FMs support minor maintenance and troubleshooting of wash systems, their main focus is on the long-term integrity of the property, including exterior appearance, cleanliness, safety, lighting, landscaping, signage, and building condition. They are expected to proactively identify issues, communicate repair needs, and take pride in maintaining a clean, inviting, and fully operational site for customers.

Responsibility

• Complete opening procedures, daily checklists, and visual inspections.
• Maintain parking lots, wash bays, vacuums, and all customer-facing areas.
• Remove trash, sweep debris, pressure wash surfaces, and ensure tidy landscaping.
• Inspect the property for hazards or deterioration (block damage, signage, cracked pavement, lighting outages, etc.).
• Perform routine seasonal tasks (salt prep, snow removal monitoring, weed control, etc.).
• Report all building or site issues with detailed service tickets and photos.
• Observe wash system behavior and note symptoms of downtime or underperformance.
• Complete light preventative tasks such, but not limited to, troubleshooting vacuums, hose repairs/replacements and wand tightening when safe and trained.
• Complete weekly soap inventory and submit restock orders.
• Assist with restocking basic consumables and maintenance supplies.
• Interact professionally with customers on site.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and enforce all brand visual standards (uniform, signage, lighting, etc.).
• Professionally represent the company while driving a fleet vehicle between assigned sites.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift and/or climb, reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Regularly required to lift heavy weights (50 pounds or greater) above shoulder height.
• Regularly required to move heavy weights (250 pounds or greater) along ground.Li>
• Maintain an upright standing position for an excess of 8 hours.
• Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Computer skills required: Intermediate knowledge of the use of android tablets and PC hardware and software. Ability to learn and use computer software in Microsoft suite of office products and other software pertinent to job. Basic understanding of networking hardware, PLCs, VDFs, and various reset procedures.
• Minimum Desired Education: Prefer technical training (HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, Automotive, Coding). Education in progress or experience in lieu may be considered at Autowash discretion.
• Minimum Desired Experience: 2-3 years of previous employment with related experience
• Preferred Experience: Previous experience with landscape or grounds, facilities, building maintenance, automotive or other technical trades are preferred.
