Job summary

A vehicle maintenance service company in Indianapolis is seeking a Car Wash Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles. Responsibilities include regularly cleaning the interior and exterior of cars, hand-washing and waxing them, as well as preparing vehicles for re-issues. To qualify, candidates must have a high school diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid Indiana driver's license. Work hours are 8-4:30 pm with a pay rate of $15/hr.

Contract
Pay Rate: $15/hr (Work schedule is 8-4:30 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours)

Job Description

• Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior/interior of vehicles issued by Field support services (FSS).
• Hand-wash the exterior of all Field Support Services (FSS) pool cars on an as-needed basis, or at least twice a month.
• Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month.
• On a quarterly basis, hand-wax all FSS pool cars.
• Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of FSS new/re-issue commissions for issuance.
• On an as-needed basis, hand-wash the dirt and grime collected on new/re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time. This process is necessary in an attempt to protect the State Police’s investment.
