Chevron Stations Inc. is hiring at our car wash site to deliver exceptional customer service and operateMembership sales and kiosk transactions. Join a team that values safety and teamwork, supporting the site manager and maintaining a clean, inviting car wash environment.

You will assist customers, handle pricing questions, and help train new team members while complying with all safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to work in California.
• Proficiency in English to understand CSI policies and communicate with customers.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to keep car wash site clean and inviting; organize spaces and equipment.
• Retail/hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer service concerns and provide outstanding service.
• Take and sell Unlimited Memberships with accuracy and speed.
• Process credit card transactions through kiosk.
• Maintain a safe, clean site by following safety guidelines and daily checklists.
• Support car wash site manager and train new team members as needed.
• Assist customers with questions on pricing, services, and car wash process.

The perfect fit for our team are individuals who are self-motivated, dependable and able to work effectively & safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% total customer focus.People First, Excellence AlwaysEssential FunctionsResolving customer service concerns.Take customer orders of Unlimited Memberships and sell Unlimited Memberships with accuracy and speed.Handle credit card transactions through kiosk.Help provide a safe and clean working environment through completing daily checklist and implementing safety guidelines and procedures.Support car wash site manager with supervision of daily activities and provide back-up support on site when car wash site manager is absent.Key Job Expectations and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide outstanding customer service.Clean and maintain car wash site and equipment.Assist customers with questions on pricing, service, and awareness of car wash process.Guide customers into carwash conveyerSell car wash services and unlimited memberships.Maintain and stock chemicals and equipment.Assist customers to process transactions.Maintain safe environment on-site while working with others by following all safety guidelines and procedures.Support car wash site manager with supervisory responsibilities including training of new team members, complete and submit necessary paperwork, submit required reportingLearn Ducky’s at Chevron Wash Core Values prior to working your first shift.Learn Ducky’s at Chevron Carwash Service Menu and Unlimited Scripts prior to working your first shift.Skills and Experience Required:Demonstrated ability to motivate others and be a cooperative teammate with confidence in work processes and goals.Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and/or coworkers on work-related matters.Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively.Ability to organize and keep car wash site clean and inviting.Strong problem-solving skills.A resilient, consistent, go-getter who sees every customer as a new opportunity.Someone who loves to be active and engaged all the time.Maintain the highest level of professionalism through the way you dress, carry yourself and interact with customers.Retail and/or hospitality experience preferred.Valid driver’s licenseMust be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California locations. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and various hours.Physical DemandsMust be able to stand for long periods of time working at kiosk or entrance of car wash conveyer.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Occasional bending, twisting, and lifting of equipment and materials.Job is outdoors and repetitive.TravelOccasional work and travel between Chevron Stations Inc.
