Chevron Stations Inc is seeking a Car Wash Attendant to engage customers, ensure a quality car wash experience, and support sales of memberships. You will guide customers, process transactions, and uphold safety and cleanliness at the site.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Job Description:

The Car Wash Attendant (CWA) interacts with customers and ensures they are satisfied with their car wash experience as it relates to speed, quality, and hospitality.

Essential Functions:

• Resolving customer service concerns.
• Take customer orders of Unlimited Memberships and sell Unlimited Memberships with accuracy and speed.
• Handle credit card transactions through the kiosk.
• Help provide a safe and clean working environment by completing daily checklists and implementing safety guidelines and procedures.

Key Job Expectations and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Clean and maintain the car wash site and equipment.
• Assist customers with questions on pricing, service, and awareness of the car wash process.
• Guide customers into the carwash conveyor.
• Sell car wash services and unlimited memberships.
• Maintain and stock chemicals and equipment.
• Assist customers in processing transactions.
• Maintain a safe environment on-site while working with others by following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Learn Ducky’s at Chevron Wash Core Values prior to working your first shift.
• Learn Ducky’s at Chevron Carwash Service Menu and Unlimited Scripts prior to working your first shift.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated ability to be a motivated and cooperative teammate with confidence in work processes and goals.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to organize and keep the car wash site clean and inviting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• A resilient, consistent, go-getter who sees every customer as a new opportunity.
• Someone who loves to be active and engaged all the time.
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism through the way you dress, carry yourself, and interact with customers.
• Retail and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California locations. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and various hours.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time working at a kiosk or entrance of a car wash conveyor.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Occasional bending, twisting, and lifting of equipment and materials.
• Job is outdoors and repetitive.

Travel:

• Occasional work and travel between Chevron Stations Inc. Express Wash locations.
