Job summary

Fox Rent A Car is seeking a Car Wash Attendant in Chicago to prep vehicles for rental by cleaning exteriors and interiors to ensure a great first impression for customers.

You will drive cars to the service area for washing, vacuum interiors, clean windows, and inspect safety equipment. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required, with flexibility for weekend shifts to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle from the drop-off point to the service area and send it through the car wash.
• Vacuum the interior, floor, seats, ashtray, and trunk of the rental.
• Clean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors.
• Inspect the vehicle for unidentified body damage.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment is in working order — lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors, backup lights.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any hazardous conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.
