Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time Car Wash Attendant to greet customers, explain wash options, and assist at pay stations while guiding vehicles through the wash tunnel.

You will perform basic cleaning, upkeep the lot, and support a fast-paced outdoor environment. Excellent communication, sales awareness, teamwork, and basic computer skills to learn the POS system are required. This role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities within Circle K.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available.
• Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.

• 70% Customer Interaction
• 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. In performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to Stand and walk throughout the workday. Use of hands; reach with hands and arms. Climb or balance; stop, crouch and kneel. The employee must be able to work in damp and humid conditions. The employee must be able to work in outdoor variable weather conditions. The employee may have to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs. Expose to noise.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE). This person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which means this person will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
