Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available.
• Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.

• 70% Customer Interaction
• 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)
• 5% Opening/Closing Procedures
• 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.

Experience

• Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Use of hands; reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance; stop, crouch and kneel.
• Work in damp and humid conditions and outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise.

Working Environment

The incumbent must perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. Noise level is moderate but can be excessively loud; hearing protection required. The person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.

Supervision Received

The team member must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Hiring Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
