Job summary

VanDevere Automotive Family in Akron, OH, is seeking a Car Wash Attendant to greet customers and guide them through the car wash process. You will operate wash equipment safely and ensure vehicles are cleaned to high standards while maintaining a clean, organized work space.

The role requires friendly communication, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Prior car wash experience is helpful but training is provided; schedule includes Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

As a Car Wash Attendant, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers' vehicles receive the best care and attention, leaving them sparkling clean and shining like new.

The Vandevere Automotive Family is Akron's largest auto dealer group with five locations, 4 major brands, and over 400 employees. Family owned since 1946, VanDevere continues to grow with the help of an ever expanding team. Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the car wash.
• Guiding customers through the car wash process.
• Operating car wash equipment efficiently and safely to ensure the highest quality results.
• Safely guiding vehicles through the car wash tunnel.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of car wash equipment.
• Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in car wash operations is advantageous but not mandatory; we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality car wash services are delivered.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Impeccable customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of clients.
• Punctual and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Schedule:

Thursday and Friday- 12PM-6PM

Saturday-9AM-5PM
