Job summary

Ridgeway Petroleum, Inc in Braidwood, IL seeks a Car Wash Assistant Manager to deliver excellent customer service, oversee daily operations, and promote Monthly Car Wash Club memberships.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and working outdoors in varying weather. Must be able to communicate in English and maintain a clean, safe facility. Compensation starts at $21–$22 per hour with commission opportunities and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand continuously for 6 to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis and 25 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English at a high school level
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to automobile fumes and industrial cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service treating each customer in a helpful and courteous manner
• Signing up customers for Monthly Car Wash Club membership
• Instructing all car wash customers on safety procedures, liability issues and general wash instructions
• Addressing all customer complaints in a positive manner and documenting complaints for follow-up by the general manager
• Keeping the car wash and all surrounding areas clean, organized, and well maintained
• Reporting all equipment problems or replacement needs to maintenance personnel
