Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Shift Supervisor for Store 4701835 in Saint Charles, MO. The role covers daytime to overnight shifts and weekends, acting as manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable.

You will oversee stocking, training, scheduling, and compliance with safety protocols, including car wash operations, while delivering strong customer service and sales results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Order and stock vending items.
• Train new hires and open/close checklists.
• Train on loading techniques for teammates.
• Train Fast Pass sales techniques.
• Respond to voicemails and emails promptly.
• Create an effective schedule.
• Knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation.
• Clean the vacuum system and perform maintenance.
• Support Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess training needs.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending
• Effectively provide training to new hires
• Able to train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates.
• Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team
• Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
• Able to create an effective schedule.
• Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation
• Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system)
• Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE :

Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role. Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE). This person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which means this person will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED :

The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
