The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a lab setting, strong cell culture skills, and experience with qPCR and flow cytometry. This is a full‑time, 6‑month contract based in Pittsburgh, focused on cellular and biochemical readouts for the Cell Therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 2+ years of experience as laboratory technician or in a comparable position.
• Advanced cell culture skills: primary cell culture experience is a must, CAR‑T experience is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in cell‑based assays is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Organized and accurate in your work but also flexible towards changing plans.
• Desire to learn new concepts and experimental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary human cell cultures for screening assays.
• Perform primary T‑cell activation, transduction, and maintenance.
• Conduct cytotoxicity and cytokine release assays.
• Develop and optimize cell‑based assay methods.
• Perform qPCR and flow cytometry analyses.
• Lentivirus production and titration.
• Assist with other procedures as needed.
