Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is hiring for a CAR T-cell Therapy Coordinator at the Memorial Hermann TMC location. Must have a BSN and 5 or more years of RN Oncology experience. Hours are 4/10hr shifts with no on-call rotation.

The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care, perform nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records. MHHS hires RNs by experience level, from newly licensed to 10+ years.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required; additional certifications may be required by unit.
• 5+ years of RN Oncology experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to patients, according to the nursing process and age-related needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes appropriate clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation, process improvement, and outcomes assessment.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies; ensures safety and quality of care.
• Promotes professional growth; may serve as preceptor or mentor to staff.
• Provides compassionate and personalized patient experiences within the MHHS service standards.
