Job summary

AutoNation is redefining the car-buying experience with a no-haggle environment. The E-Commerce Sales Associate engages with hundreds of customers online, over the phone and in person, guiding them from inquiry to in-store visit while delivering exceptional service.

You will respond to leads promptly, answer questions, and present information to help customers select vehicles, negotiate terms, and close deals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads in a timely fashion and answer questions to guide customers from phone/internet contact to in-store experience.
• Explain terms and payment options to ensure customer lifestyles, budgets, and expectations are met; close the deal.
• Drive exceptional customer experience before and after purchase to build loyalty.
• Follow up with customers and transition them to the Service department to support ownership experience.
