Job summary

Staffmark Group in Belton, MO is hiring a part-time Car Porter to move and park vehicles at the auction lot. The role runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

You will help locate vehicles for auction events and assist customers and staff as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures and directions.

Responsibilities

• Drive and move vehicles safely throughout the auction and vehicle lot.
• Park, stage, and organize vehicles in designated locations.
• Locate vehicles for auction events and customer pickup needs.
• Assist with vehicle line-up and auction preparation.
• Verify vehicle keys, paperwork, and identifying information.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and inventory.
• Assist customers, drivers, and auction staff as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and lot procedures.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Previous driving, vehicle handling, parking attendant, lot attendant, valet, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track vehicle locations.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an auction, dealership, transportation, logistics, or vehicle lot environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit and drive vehicles throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently walk across large parking lots and vehicle storage areas.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and repeatedly enter and exit vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive physical activities during the workday.

Job Duties
