Job summary

WESTCHESTER AUTO SALES INC in Westchester, IL is seeking an experienced auto mechanic to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and execute engine and transmission work.

This full-time, on-site role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, own basic tools, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is a plus. Pay ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 per week, commensurate with experience and productivity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on mechanic experience required.
• Must diagnose mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Engine rebuild and engine swap experience required.
• Transmission rebuild and transmission swap experience required.
• Ability to work on a wide variety of makes and models.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
