Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Vehicle Detailer to clean, refuel, and prep rental cars for customers. In this outdoor, on-site role you will wash interiors, vacuum, sanitize, remove trash, check fluids and tire pressures, inspect for body damage, and ensure vehicles meet quality standards.

No experience is required, but you must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• On-site role; not remote.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles to meet quality and cleanliness standards (wash, vacuum, sanitize interiors, remove trash).
• Prepare vehicles for next rental and ensure they are ready for customers.
• Refuel vehicles, check fluids and tire pressure.
• Inspect for auto body damage and monitor dashboard indicators.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles across airport lots as needed.

In this role, your work directly impacts the customer experience by ensuring every vehicle is clean, safe, and ready for the road.

What You’ll Do:

In this outdoor role, you will detail our vehicles to meet quality and cleanliness standards. This includes washing, vacuuming, sanitizing interiors, removing trash, and preparing vehicles for the next rental. You will also refuel vehicles, check fluid levels and tire pressure, inspect for auto body damage, and monitor dashboard warning indicators. As needed, you may move, park, and organize vehicles across our airport lots. Throughout all tasks, you’ll help ensure vehicles are ready, reliable, and available for our customers.
