Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Delivery Driver for our Schenectady, NY store. You will be the Boots on the ground, delivering cookie magic to fans in a timely and friendly manner.

Responsibilities include checking orders for accuracy, delivering cookies and ice cream, providing top-notch customer service, and updating status via our delivery app according to company standards. This role offers a guaranteed hourly wage with opportunities to earn more during peak hours and flexible part-time

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Proven ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Experience with delivery apps and providing friendly customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Provide quality customer service in-person or by phone.
• Use the delivery app to update customers on order status per company standards.

As a Delivery Driver, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
• Must have a smartphone with data plan
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
