Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Delivery Driver for our Norfolk store at 4314 Monarch Way to bring the Cookie Magic to fans with a friendly, professional face on every delivery.

Shifts run 10am–6/7pm Monday–Friday and 11am–6/7pm Saturday–Sunday. You must have your own car, valid license, registration, insurance, a smartphone with data, and be 18+ to join our fast-growing team. Expect to check orders, deliver promptly, and interact with customers via the company app.

Qualifications

• Must have own reliable car, valid license, registration and insurance.
• Be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass motor vehicle background checks and use a smartphone app.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before leaving the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream promptly to customers.
• Provide courteous customer service in-person or by phone, using the delivery app for status updates.

Job description

As a Delivery Driver at our ODU store located at 4314 Monarch Way, Norfolk VA 23508, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

Shifts available:

• 10am-6/7pm Monday- Friday
• 11am-6/7pm Saturday and Sunday

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
• Must have a smartphone with data plan
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
